I was so glad to see the biggest loser finally end. Don't get me wrong I love the show but there was just something about this season that rubbed me the wrong way. I don't know if it was that contestants just didn't seem to lose weight like they would on previous shows or if there was so much whining and complaining on this season.
When I look at previous seasons, it's quite apparent that "Damn those people look great". But this season only 4 people really impressed me, Kim, Mike, Cassandra, and Chris. I'm not taking anything away from what everyone else did, I was rooting for Emily and Jeremy to win the respective at home and biggest loser prize, but the losses just didn't seem that impressive.
Then when you look at the three contestants who decided to quit, that's just stupid. I honestly don't even remember the first person to quit the show, but when Buddy and Mark decided to leave the show was simply childish. "It's unfair that the people eliminated deserve a second chance." Ummmmm if they could lose enough weight on their own to return to the ranch then they deserve that opportunity. And yes it if wasn't for this second chance return, Ali Vincent would have never been the first female winner of the biggest loser. On another note I think that Jeremy, Conda, and Kim played that game well to convince Mark and Buddy to quit.
Congrats to Mark and Jeremy. Each of them deserved their prize. And congratulations to each contestant earning a healthier life. Oh and if she ever reads this or if anyone has the information, I would love to see Emily perform on stage.
Until next season. Thanks for reading!

Smash "tech"
Hello everyone
First off I will not be doing a complete review of the episode listed above but do want to highlight some aspects of the episode and discuss what we may come to expect in future episodes (especially since they have been renewed for a second season and they have recently hired the showrunner from Gossip Girl.). I am also in no way, shape, or form a professional reviewer of television, just someone who likes to watch and share his opinion.
Glad to see that Julia and Frank are mending the bridges and the fences, especially love to well timed comment by Leo as I would have probably been sick of them being so lovey dovey. But of course they cannot have Julia be without major drama. Will Chase, I mean Michael Swift, will be returning as the previous lead "suddenly" got cast in a pilot. I hope that the show finally decides to highlight the beautiful voice of Brian d'Arcy James by having Frank propose that he become the new Joe Dimaggio and finally booting Michael Swift completely off the show (sorry but his character just bothers me, especially in the preview of next episode where he says "I only came back for you" (at Julia)).
Everything else was kind of ho-hum if you ask me. Rebecca Duvall having a breakdown and Derek "doing what he has to do" to be there for her seemed rather expected because Ivy can never have anything go right in her life. Karen and Dev having problems because their careers are going in opposite directions and they happen to be apart, bleh!
Ellis, the guy everyone just loves to hate, will be the reason the show, Bombshell, and the show, Smash, will succeed. I will admit I use to hate this character, but I later realized the reason I actually like Ellis is because no one really knows what he is scheming. He is obviously looking to better his placement in life and I believe he is just waiting for his time to take fame and fortune by the hands.
Predictions for the last two episodes:
Rebecca has a major breakdown and Ivy will take over the role of Marilyn
As stated earlier, I believe that Frank will be the new Dimaggio
Julia has more drama as Frank and Ivy relationship develop.
Tom has full support for Ivy causing a rift in the Tom and Julia relationship.
Julia pushes for Karen to be Marilyn to keep Ivy from Frank.
Karen contemplates what's more important, Broadway or Dev.
Karen will sleep with Derek when she learns Dev and Ivy slept together, thus giving Karen the role of Marilyn.
Thanks for reading!
